The Behavioral Health Springboard has launched three social-emotional learning (SEL) courses that are specifically targeted for school employees (including school-based behavioral health providers, special service providers, teachers, admin, etc). These courses are free and each take around 3 hours to complete.

Supporting Exceptional Students: The Intersection of Social-Emotional Learning and Disability
(This online, self-paced training course will identify 14 recognized disability categories, both visible and invisible, and their potential impacts on social-emotional well-being and mental health. Educators who take this course will explore common social-emotional challenges experienced by elementary, middle, and high school students across the disability spectrum, with a focus on utilizing Social Emotional Learning (SEL) strategies to support students in the school environment.)
(This online, self-paced training course: explores the connection between social-emotional learning, social-emotional development, and social-emotional wellness with success in elementary school classrooms; presents a range of typical social emotional development for elementary aged students Preschool through 5th grade; and discusses the impact of trauma on students and how school staff can support children in concrete ways to promote their social-emotional learning.)
Intersections and Connections of Restorative Justice, Mental Health, and Education in Schools
(This online, self-paced training course: explores the Restorative Justice in Education Framework and describes different restorative justice practices; outlines the connections between restorative justice and mental health, as well as the connection between restorative justice and equity; and emphasizes how restorative justice supports the well-being of staff and students.)
