For Participants
Please follow this link Public Training Calendar – NC Youth Mental Health First Aid (ncymhfa.org) to register for one of our public YMHFA virtual trainings.
All eligible participants will have 10 days to complete the required post-work following their YMHFA training. Please at least 45 business days for processing gift card once verification is conducted for completed post-work.
Once we receive your name and email from your instructor, we will create an account for you and send you an email stating such. When you log in for the first time you will need to change your password. If there are any technical issues, please reach out to ncymhfa@ssw.un.edu
Please allow 1 to 2 business days after you have logged in for the first time before inquiring about a missing course. It is likely a system issue and we will resolve it as quickly as possible.
For completely virtual and blended trainings you can find the link for your training in Module 10 after you have completed all necessary pre-work.
To receive your certificate, you must complete all pre-work, attend your in-person and/or virtual session, and complete all post-work. If you have not done so and the deadline has passed, you will need to sign up for another course. If you have done so, please see the bottom of this page to direct an email about your certificate to us.

For Instructors
As long as we have all the necessary information and inventory is stable, your materials will be sent no later than a week before your training date.
When you submit your course to us, please also prepare a participant sheet with the following information: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and Physical Mailing address (for virtual courses.) To clarify, if your training is fully in-person or blended in-person we do not need the physical mailing address of your participants.
Your course will be created in Connect within 1 week of us receiving the training request. Once we receive the necessary participant information from the organization we will begin to add participants.
